You are daring in a …
You are daring in a good way. Try to get a little bit more information about how to work around the diferent salsa clave patterns. If you don’t work around the clave your salsa comping or guajeo will sound like; playing a swing melody at a march tempo and rythm which means NO SINCOPATION AT ALL! Ha ha ha ha . . you get the point? This is like, keep the good work my coleage! You are helping a lot of young people and also you are on your way to become a good pianist my young fellow. Blessings!

So, back to English…Ben, if anyone asks for a translation in Spanish, just hit me up and I should be able to upload that for them. (I say this because I noticed one comment from a French person bemoaning their inability to understand English…unfortunately, I cannot speak French, but just in case there is a similar language-barrier with Spanish…)

Great, but if I were you I’d use my 2nd finger (the index finger) when playing the second invertion of the C minor chord with my left hand. That way it’ll be more comfortable to play it.

Can somebody please tell what the chord progression is. I would appreciate the chords in roman numerals, since we already know it’s in C minor. I am new to theory and would like to figure it out myself. Thanks.

Ben, you are a wonderful teacher. You explain things clearly, give great examples, and build upon small steps to a complete whole. There a lots of people who give “lessons” online, but you are clearly the best. Most others are good players, but cannot explain well, or are too self-indulgent, seemingly wanting to “show off”
