I’m interested in learning to play piano but can’t afford one so was thinking about buying a keyboard to learn?

on. Could anyone reccomend a good reasonably priced one please.

You can try used keyboards from ebay, craigslist, or local classifieds. Some local music stores even sell used ones. It doesn’t have to be a full piano sized to get started. You can also try discount stores like Target, Walmart, Kmart, Big Lots, etc. They often sell keyboards in various sizes ranging from $50 to $100. While the sound quality isn’t going to be as good as a piano, they are portable and get you started with practicing. Once you get started and decide if you want to stick with it, then you can upgrade later.

Look in the classified part of a newspaper for a free piano.

Play piano and often practice on a full keyboard since I don’t have room for a piano in my home. Picked it up at Walmart for about $75 a few years ago.

good for you! i love the piano! i actually started out on a keyboard. but anyway….

-go on freecycle to see if there are any free or cheap or ones for trade in your area.
-also go on craigslist. there may be some for free or cheap in your area.
    -try ebay…
-put an ad in your local newspaper saying you’re looking for a keyboard.

I brought a Keyboard because i relay wanted to learn, but seriously it isn’t as easy as you think. When I first brought it i just thought "yh, I’ll get some music sheets and off i go!" but it was very hard.

I’d recommend looking up youtube videos on tutiorls on how to play songs, that helped alot =]
I would defo get a good priced one. mine was about 46 pounds, and it wasnt very good at all. you might as well get one from £80-£100.
