    the e minor chords …
the e minor chords in this video are majors because when using the natural minor scale, the seventh note of the scale is raised to create a leading tone, which allows a more natural flow through the scale. this causes the V chord (in this case e) to become major, although technically it is still considered and often called minor, according to the original scale construction.

    Yeah I agree to …
Yeah I agree to your conclusion about Philip Glass`s music. But he is more melancholic, has mor dark parts, more “artificial” brakes to produce a real athmosphere not only romatic scenes.. Thats my opinion :-)

    great job! i look …
great job! i look forward to more videos marginalizing the entire creative output of other great composers (e.g. “How to play piano like J.S. Bach”, “How to play piano like W.A. Mozart”) — it’s a good thing we have you, Torley, so that pianists never have to actually learn to play music by the composers you so insightfully imitate.

I’m curious…I can recognize almost anything that Mozart wrote because of his repeated ideas and themes…is Glass any less musical even though we all seem to have him “figured out”?

    That’s why I find …
That’s why I find Philip Glass quite boring. There’s are some very touching harmonics, but stop doing the same ones over and over again. XD
