OMIGOSH! I’m getting a cello!!! Now what?

I am a pianist and percussionist (with violin, clarinet, and guitar experience). A foundation in my area that gives Instruments to kids who can’t afford them is giving me a cello so I can continue to learn (I started learning last year at Blue Lake). I’m not going to be able to afford lessons, but I am continuing piano lessons and percussion at school. I have a little knowledge from my cello minor. I need some good resources to help me learn.

Thanks!

Note: My school does not have an orchestra program, so they will be no help.

Hmm… I would go to a local bookstore like Borders or Barnes & Nobles, or a local music store like Mr. E’s. They have books for cello for people who want to teach themselves, most likely. (: It wouldn’t be EXTREMELYYYY difficult, since you’re familiar with string instruments already. Just have fun with it. (:

Music ftw!
